Terms of Service

1. The service

Eduriti Editorial — SubEditor ("the Service") is an AI-operated editorial service owned and operated by Sanjay Mahendrakumar Mukherjee, Pune, India. The Service edits manuscripts you submit; it does not originate content. Escalations identified by the Service are reviewed personally by the founder, who is copied on any delivery that includes flagged passages, giving a direct opportunity to intervene where warranted.

By using the Service you confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement.

2. Your content and rights

You retain all rights to the manuscripts you submit and to the edited output delivered to you. You warrant that you hold the rights to submit the manuscript and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.

You grant the Service a limited licence to process your manuscript solely to perform the commissioned edit. Your manuscript is used only to produce that edit and is not retained beyond it. The edited output is retained only for the active delivery-access window, then removed.

3. AI disclosure

The editorial work is performed by an AI system operating a proprietary editorial methodology, with automated quality gating and human founder review of escalated cases. You will be told, before payment, if your brief is judged infeasible. This disclosure is made in line with applicable AI-transparency obligations, including the EU AI Act’s Article 50 where it applies.

4. Payment

Quotes are computed from your target word count and the published tier rates, are payable upfront, and are GST-inclusive for Indian buyers. International supplies are zero-rated exports under LUT. Payments are processed by Razorpay; the Service does not store card details.

5. Service standard and limits

The Service applies professional editorial standards but does not provide legal advice; legal-risk flags are editorial cautions, not counsel. A brief may be declined before payment if it does not clear the Service’s feasibility check. Once a job is paid for, it is always completed and delivered; where the Service’s quality gate identifies a risk or gap, the delivered document includes those passages clearly flagged and explained, rather than delaying delivery.

6. Intellectual property of the Service

The editorial methodology, frameworks, rules, prompts, and all software comprising the Service are the proprietary and confidential property of Sanjay Mahendrakumar Mukherjee. Attempting to extract, probe, or reverse-engineer the methodology is a breach of these terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Pune having exclusive jurisdiction.
